My concientious self: Be polite to all

I remember the story of Pir O Murshid Hazrat Inayat Khan who; when taking his daily walks in the streets of Suresnes, never passed the grumpy, hostile french construction worker without a polite: "How do You do, Sir"
Every day he repeated his polite greeting - with no response except for a perhaps even more hostile attitude from the frenchman
Until one day  - the man surrended to Murshids polite respect, and answered him: "Bonjour, Monsieur"
